It is an exceedingly well-written, well-illustrated, and well-referenced textbook of Surgery, whose scholarly authors are all renowned experts in their specific areas of surgical endeavor. It certainly belongs in the personal medical library of every practicing physician, irrespective of their individual specialty. "Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery, Tenth Edition" remains the consummate textbook of Surgery, and I give it my very highest recommendation.

The master textbook. Unavoidable for any surgery resident. Information is good, although I can’t compare with previous editions. The only downside is a large number of typographical and grammatical or spelling errors, which are unexpected in a book of this quality.
Also, I have the Kindle edition which works worst on my Kindle fire, because it is all in greyscale and the tables are difficult to read. Works well on other Kindle platforms such as my PC and phone.

It’s an excellent book. Not only for students. I have the anterior edition for control. It’s really new!. Most of the items are up to date. Collia.
